Versive’s management team has decades of combined entrepreneurship in enterprise technology, including deep domain knowledge in the areas of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cybersecurity, at companies ranging from startups to the Fortune 500.

Joseph Polverari


Joe is responsible for driving overall business and operational strategies to accelerate growth. His expertise is in delivering disruptive technologies that solve complex, machine-scale enterprise problems.

Prior to Versive, Joe was Chief Strategy & Development Officer at Yodlee, responsible for global strategy, go to market, business and corporate development activities, and entrepreneurship. Joe has over 20 years of experience in multinational business strategy, including two IPOs.

Joe holds a BS in Economics and Juris Doctorate from Santa Clara University, and a certificate in business management from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Dustin Rigg Hillard


Dustin is responsible for leading product development and innovation. His vision is founded on simplifying and accelerating the adoption of machine learning for new use cases.

Prior to Versive, Dustin was an early data scientist on Cortana at Microsoft and worked in ad-revenue and relevance at Yahoo! He has deep ML experience in speech recognition, translation, natural language processing, and advertising, and has published over 30 papers in these areas.

Dustin holds a BS, Masters, and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington.

Greg Smithies

VP of Finance

Greg handles finance, legal, fundraising, partnerships, and alliances. If it’s involved in making payroll, improving operations, or partnering to sell faster, to more customers, in more verticals, then Greg is thinking about it.

Prior to Versive, Greg was an investor at Battery Ventures, a $5B equity investor, where he worked on deals from six-figure seed rounds, to nine-figure buyouts, across Enterprise Software, Analytics, and IT Infrastructure, including companies such as Nutanix and AppDynamics. Prior to Battery, in his strategy role at Citigroup, he oversaw almost three quarters of a billion dollars in enterprise tech spend.

Greg holds BS in Economics (Finance, Operations & Information Management) from the Wharton School, and a BS in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania.

Jeff Feinstein

VP of Sales

Jeff is responsible for leading sales and go-to-market activities, bringing over two decades of experience building world-class sales functions at leading enterprise technology startups.

Prior to Versive, Jeff ran Field Operations for IT Operations Analytics company ExtraHop Networks. Prior to that, he held executive sales roles at IBM, Sequent Computer Systems, and Vallant (both of which were acquired by IBM). Jeff is also a Board Advisor for several early-stage Seattle-based technology companies and an Advisor at Work-Bench.

Jeff holds a BA in Marketing from Washington State University and received an Executive Program Certification from Stanford University School of Business.

Justin Baker

Sr. Director of Marketing

Justin is responsible for defining and guiding market strategy and execution for Versive, helping customers understand the enormous value of AI-driven cybersecurity.

Prior to Versive, Justin was the first marketing hire at disruptive technology innovator ExtraHop Networks, where he defined product, marketing, and solution strategy. Prior to ExtraHop, he held a global marketing role at F5 Networks during a period of extraordinary growth. He has held executive-level marketing positions and built go-to-market strategies at several early-stage startups.

Justin holds an MBA in Information Systems Management from Seattle Pacific University and a BA in Marketing from Western Washington University.

Ashley Fidler

VP of Product

Ashley is responsible for ensuring all the product pieces come together into great experiences for our customers. At Versive, that means bringing together a cross-disciplinary team of product and project managers, designers, and writers to deliver cutting-edge enterprise products.

Prior to Versive, Ashley focused on natural language processing, with roles in both data science and product. At Microsoft, she worked on language understanding systems for Xbox and Cortana, as well as on the underlying machine learning infrastructure for natural language.

Ashley holds an MA and PhD from Georgetown University, as well as an MS from the University of Edinburgh, and a BA from the University of Colorado.

Matthew Vanderzee

VP of Engineering

Matthew is responsible for product engineering, delivery, and quality at Versive. His expertise is in leading high-impact engineering teams to deliver enterprise-scale products.

Prior to Versive, Matthew was VP of Engineering at Parsable, where he led the ground-up development of the company’s industrial collaboration and workflow solution. Before that, as Senior Director of Engineering at Castlight Health, he drove the innovation of the company’s machine-learning healthcare pricing engine, and later led the application engineering department.

Matthew holds a MS in Computer Science from the University of Michigan, and a BS in Computation and Neural Systems from Caltech.
